EDU-DOCS Officially Launches as a New European Project in School Education

EDU-DOCS – Empowering Teachers and Students Through Social Documentaries – has officially launched as a new European project in the field of School Education, running from 1 November 2025 to 31 October 2027.

The project brings together partners from across Europe with a shared goal: to introduce social documentary-making into schools as a powerful tool for media literacy, digital storytelling, inclusion, and active citizenship. Through EDU-DOCS, teachers and students will have the opportunity to explore real social issues, develop creative and digital skills, and engage in meaningful educational experiences through film.

Over the course of the project, EDU-DOCS will implement teacher training activities, student workshops, documentary creation labs, and collaborative international exchanges. The project will also lead to the development of open-access educational resources, including the EDU-DOCS Toolkit and a Virtual Library, ensuring long-term impact for schools and educators across Europe.

With a strong focus on critical thinking, participation, and intercultural dialogue, EDU-DOCS aims to create a sustainable model for documentary-based learning that empowers both educators and students.
